You're on a spa/healthcare program and shouldn't expect a 5-star vacation.
But we look at each individual very carefully, everyone is very nice and hard-working, and the fitness and wellness offer is perfect.
Food is good but could be more varied (always the same salad & the same breakfast)
But all in all I'm very satisfied
Was here for rehab and was surprised by the complete friendliness of the staff!
From reception to cleaning staff to therapists and doctors, everyone was very nice and tried to make the stay as pleasant as possible!
I would also like to give great praise to the kitchen and the restaurant staff!

I felt very comfortable during my rehab. The 31 degree indoor pool, sauna and steam chamber were used daily. There is a fitness room that you can also use if you don't have a training session or training. The rooms are well furnished and everything is very clean. The breakfast buffet and the menu selection at lunch and dinner were also very varied. I can't complain about anything.
The rehabilitation in Bad Wimsbach was very relaxing. Unfortunately, only a few treatments and a lot of training (30).
The room is a reasonable size, unfortunately a single room supplement of €9 per day was due.
The cuisine was varied (3 menu choices at lunch and in the evening. There was a buffet for breakfast.
Cell phone reception is very poor throughout the site, but WiFi is offered free of charge in all buildings. In the evenings, the WiFi is often slower if too many people use it.

Otherwise there is a lot of room for improvement in the areas of reception, cleaning, therapists and restaurant.
Unfortunately you are late when you arrive. But during the welcome round, you get the impression that it's better not to complain.
It's also unpleasant that the therapists don't seem to have a lounge where they can "talk" about patients undisturbed - so other patients hear everything.
I found the strength training particularly annoying, which was replaced by mat gymnastics at least four times because 10-12 people were assigned to 6 pieces of equipment. You are not allowed to use this room privately. It can't be that difficult to organize more devices and the rooms.
A lot more could be said about it, but I don't want to make a book out of it.
Day tickets are only available to buy for 15 euros. A year ago you paid around 30e for the monthly ticket, then 60e. Today I got the answer that there are no longer any monthly or annual passes for day guests. The people who went there for years were loyal guests. Unfortunately, many are old and will no longer have the opportunity to go anywhere else.
Optima Med no longer wants any day guests. These are not rumors but heard from people who work there.
This place is for those who are really looking for peace and quiet and want to switch off in the beautiful nature and do something good for themselves!!!!! It's not a 5 star hotel so be minimalistic when it comes to expectations. Rooms are practically small. But the staff tries hard and is always friendly. Therapies are good but not enough where the staff can't do anything about it.
My first day of rehabilitation began with a serious accident on the highway🙈. (Thank God only the car was affected) I was warmly welcomed and accompanied by a psychologist was also organized. I have rarely experienced so much friendliness …
